DIY Lip Color

Hi Beauties!

I try to update my blog as much as possible but sometimes I just feel too lazy or I am just busy with running errands so I neglect it sometimes, but nonetheless I am back with a DIY lip Color!
I have different lip colors that I really like but sometimes I want to spice things up with a darker vampy color but I don't have the color in my collection so I would make my own lip color!

This technique is super simple and you only need two items!

1) Lip Balm
2) Eyeshadow

How to Make?
- Take your lip balm, scrape some lip balm into a pot or squeeze it out of the tube if it comes in a tube.
- Scrape some of your colored eyeshadow you would like as your lip color.
- Mix it together with a spatula.
- Apply the color on your lips.

Easy right? That's how I like to make my own lip color! There are lots of videos on youtube now on how to make your lip color, so give it a go &Watch some of it!

I hope you guys are having an amazing day and also it's almost the new years!!
Any resolution?

All about your brows!

Hi beauties!

It's been awhile! I took a little break for Christmas holidays to enjoy time with my
Family and also my laptop got infected by a virus so I had to get to clean at the shop! So today i am updating through my phone, bare with me if I made a few grammar mistakes!

So brows can really change a look, today I'll give you a tip I totally love that give my brows that full and trimmed effect.

1) comb your brows through.
2) use brow powder and fill it in ( this will act as a guide before drawing them in)
3) draw your brows with a pencil to fill in the gaps!
4) blend the harsh edges

The reason why you use powder before a pencil is so when you use a pencil over it, it soften the effect on your brows making them fuller and more clean and crisp!

Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and hope you all had lots of laughter and joy during this Christmas!

All you need to know about Lipbalms!

Hi Beauties!

I have been neglecting my blog quite recently because I wasn't in the mood to blog as I just came home from a vacation and I have about an hour left till I left the door for a dinner with my dad's friend's family (phew so long)
But I thought to share with you about something I love the most; Lip Balms.
I have depended so much on lip balm during this trip and my lips can get a little chapped and dry due to the harsh weather.
I'll give you some good products that I would personally recommend you at the end of the post!

So here's all you need to know about Lipbalms!

1) Make sure you buy a lip balm that does not contain Paraben.
- Well if you don't know what paraben is, it's basically a preservative for cosmetics and it's super dangerous for you skin! So try avoiding them!

2) Make sure your lip balm isn't oily on your lips. When it is oily on your lips, that means your lips does not "drink" up the lip balm, but it just naturally sits on your lips (which is pretty much pointless)

3) Make sure it contains Jojoba Oil/ Shea Butter. These two properties are really good for the lips, keeping it hydrated and soft.

4) Find a lip balm, not a stain. A lot of times companies comes up with products which includes balm and stain in one package, but at times it can be really drying.

Products I'd recommend;

1) EOS lip balm

I recently bought another 2 more of the EOS lip balm when I was on my trip as I was running out of my "summer fruit" and I wanted a new one, and which I also bought a new flavor. This lip balm keeps my lips hydrated and my lip color/stick stays on and glides on beautifully without messing it up. Def a recommend!

2) Revlon Just bitten kissable balm stain (whoaaa, a mouthful!)

The colors of the crayon varies from stores to stores!

Recently heard a rave about these new ones compared to the Revlon lip butters, and couldn't help but grab one of them and give it a go, I got to stay this is by the far the best lip balm and stain ever! Its super pigmented and also super hydrating. Definitely give it a go if you're on the hunt on getting a balm yet stain!

3) Lip Ice

I have used this since I was a child and this is the best drugstore kind of lip balm ever! keeps my lips super hydrated and makes my lips have a tingly feeling when you put it on as it is a minty kind of feel! Definitely a recommend.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope you have learned a lot more about your lip balm! tell me what's your favorite in the comments section below.

It's almost christmas eves guys!!! Are you as excited as I am?

Christmas gift guide for HIM

Hi everyone!

By the time you see this blog post, I'd be on vacation but don't worry I have quite a few blog post already done before hand so it'll be up as usual, every single day!
I recently did a christmas gift guide for HER (if you haven't read it, click here) and i received quite a few comments on how they liked that blog post, so I thought i'd be great to do a christmas gift guide for HIM.
Guys are a little more difficult when it comes to buying them a gift so I'd share some gifts that I already have in mind for my family.

1) Games; It could be for your nephew or your younger brothers, games never go out of style! Buy them the latest call of duty; black ops 2 or even borderland 2! Try finding them a game which suits their age.

2) Perfume; Guys who smells good are probably the best thing ever! Finding them a scent might be a little difficult, but when you know their personality, try going to the sales girl and telling them their personality and she might be able to pick a scent for you.

3) Mugs; Getting your friends, uncle or even your dad new cute christmas-y mugs can really brighten up their day even though if it's not during the christmas month! Adding a little cute mug in their office or their work area will help them get through the day.

I hope this post was useful for you all and I hope you have some ideas on your mind right now!

What to carry on the plane?

Hi Beauties!

So when it comes to December, a lot of you beautiful readers are about to travel out of country with your family for a vacation away from home (Like me). So if you have read my previous post, you'd know that I am currently on my holiday and this post have been written before hand.
I do have internet in the hotel where I'd be staying but I thought it'd be safer if I did it before I left.

So today I shall share with you some of the things that I carry with me on the plane.

1) Thermal Water Sprays; If you haven't read my post on the benefits, click here. So air plane air can be really bad for your skin, so I like to just spray myself with some thermal water and I'd be refreshed as ever!

2) Facial sheet mask; When I am on the plane for a very long period of time, I like to do a facial mask on the plane. I just remove the packaging and use the mask for about 15-20 minutes when the lights are dimmed down. This rehydrates my skin leaving it feeling super hydrated and healthy.

3) Sample size perfume; about 10 minutes before we land, I like to spray myself with some perfume so that I can be fresh and that I smell good before leaving the plane.

Other things I bring along;
- Clips
-Hair tie
- Eyebrow pencil
- Plastics
- Comb

What do you bring on the plane with you? let me know in the comment section below!

Today isn't about hair care, skin care nor it is about beauty.
I just want to tell all of you out there that are having a rough day and just feel like crying and giving up, well the point is that DON'T!
You never know what is ahead of you! Don't let one rough day bring you down so easily, shake it off and have a good shower and get some rest
Start fresh tomorrow morning because everyday is different.
I hope you all understand me and hoping that you all beautiful readers, do not give up! Better things are waiting for you, so if you give up now they'll eventually disappear and you'll no longer be able to experience them!

Don't give up, keep your head held up high and love yourself!
No one should tell you otherwise, you're beautiful and confident!

LUSH perfumes.

Hi Beauties!

I am a huge lushie, I love LUSH till death do us apart (if that even makes sense). But the one thing I really do not like about LUSH aside from their steep price tag, is that their perfume bottles! The perfume bottles are a push up technique and if you push it a little further than what you want, it'd be difficult to push it back down.
So today I found a way to push it back down and I'd like to share with you all who are having problems with your perfume

1) Take your perfume (don't try to push it down, it'll break) and pop it in the fridge for about half an hour.
2) take it out of the fridge or in my case I pop it in the freezer for about 15 minutes, use a tissue so you don't have to use your hands, and push it straight down.
3) Let it go back to room temperature then screw the cap back on.

The reason why it goes back down once it's cold because it hardens and it's easy to slide back down. So give it a try and this should solve the problem of having your perfume stick at the high top and not being able to go back down!

Have an amazing day everyone!

Mosquitoes, you evil thing.

Hello Everyone!

So more recently my blog post have involved hair things, skin things and all sort of "things"
So today I'd like to share with you something quite personal (in a way) with all you beautiful readers out there!
I get mosquito bites quite often here because we don't have different seasons, but I am about to study in Australia, so I hope I don't see as many as possible.

So I recently found out a way to make mosquito bites less irritated and also making them not leave a mark on your skin. The trick is; Banana skin!

The skin inside the banana can help reduce redness and irritation. Rub the banana skin on your mosquito bite and this will take away any irritation, rinse with water after 1 minute so that it soaks into your skin!
The other trick is by using Aloe Vera, Aloe Vera has properties that deals with mosquito bites

Hope this was useful for you all! I love you guys so so much ☺

Clean phone vs dirty phone!

Hi Beauties!

So one of the biggest problem that is contributing to your acne might be your phone!
Not only that but I'm going to tell you what can contribute to your break outs!

Clean Phone; If you talk on the phone for a long period of hours, you need to know that bacteria from your phone can transfer onto your face which leads to breakouts! So remember to always clean your phone after talking on the phone with a friend.

Pillow case; Pillow case can collect bacteria and dust or even oil on your face. It can transfer on to your pillow case then transfer back on to your clean skin when you have washed your face, so always change your pillow case once a week.

Hair; If you have a fringe, that will collect the oil on your face and make you breakout. Try and clip your fringe up if you're at home and not doing anything rather than letting it down.

So these are the 3 top things that can contribute to your acne if you do have acne! I have very acne prone skin so now that I know what is contributing to my acne, I have tried to change it as much as possible!

How to make your lipstick stay longer!

Hello everyone!

So a lot of times when we eat or drink, our lipsticks tend to rub off and you'd find yourself re-applying lipsticks over and over again
so today, i'll give you a few tips to let yourself a break from checking the mirror to see if your lipstick is still on!

1) Lip Liner; Line your lips with a lip liner with the shade as close to your lipstick as possible. Lining your lips will help your lipstick stay on a little longer and even if your lipstick fades, your lip liner will still be on.

2) Dabbing motion; Dab your lipstick on your lip and not rubbing it on your lips!

3) Pat motion; After you have apply your lipsticks, use your ring finger and dab the lipstick in your lips. This is like how you would apply your moisturizer! By patting it in.

I hope this is useful for you and I hope your lipstick stays on as long as possible!

Face mask

Hi Everyone!

Today, I'll give you some tips on how to make your own little face mask at home!
It's super easy and all you need are just a few ingredients.

1) Strawberry mask!
- Mash up some strawberries and mix it with yoghurt, Apply on your face for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse and moisturize!

2) yogurt oatmeal mask;
- Use about a table spoon of yoghurt and put it in a mixing bowl. Add some oatmeal into the yoghurt, mix it all together and apply to your face. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes then rinse and moisturize.

3) Turmeric mask;
- Buy some powder turmeric from any store. Use about a table spoon of yoghurt and add some turmeric until it turns orange. Apply to the face for about 10 minutes then rinse it off.

This 3 are my top picks when it comes to making your own face mask, so I hope I have helped you all out there and I hope this works for you! remember to pat your skin dry, never ever rub your skin! It's way too sensitive for that.

Happy Masking!

Benefits of coconut oil;
  • - hair care,

Hair Care;

Coconut oil has got to be one of the most natural nutrition for your hair! It helps with healthy growth of your beautiful long locks and give them shiny complexion too! It helps

Coconut oil is best for dry skin type as well as other skin type, Coconut oil is a better solution than mineral oil when it comes to preventing dryness on your skin. It prevents wrinkles and sagging of the skin when you become older.

How to control your cravings!

Hello Everyone!

So today's post is more towards the lifestyle kind of post and there is a reason for it! I recently got my teeth whitened at home with my own personal teeth whitening kit, and when you whiten your teeth you're not allowed to eat anything that will stain it for about say, 24 hours? So I had all sorts of cravings that were good and bad.
So I thought it'd be useful for me to share some tips with you on how to control your cravings! Everyone has cravings so I am sure this will help one of you out there! *i hope*

1) Distract yourself;
- When I say distract yourself, I do not mean google pictures of yummy food or even watch food channels on the tv, THAT DOES NOT HELP. You could either just surf the internet or you could either go downstairs and do something productive, like paint or play with your pets.

2) Eat something healthy;
- Times when I am craving for something unhealthy or just that I can't eat because it might stain my teeth, I always let myself have bread or I can have fruits. Keep yourself full and this might help you with your cravings.

3) Calm yourself down;
- When we get hungry and when we are craving for something good, our emotions tends to go a little insane so calming yourself down would be a great option! Try to either do yoga or just sleep on your bed staring at your ceiling will help calm you down. This should make your cravings disappear in no time.

And if 3 of the tips above doesn't help you, the best tip I can give you is that; SLEEP. No matter what time of the day it is, sleep will always help you.
Yayy to healthier and whiter teeth!
I'll see you all tomorrow!

Eyeliner Guides!

Hi Beauties!
Yes, That's me &Ignore the awkward hand gesture. I didn't know what to do with my hands LOL

One of the girls biggest problem when it comes to makeup application is, eyeliner.
Eyeliner may seem easy to apply but however that is not the case! Today I'll share with you some of the easiest way to create that perfect wing on your eyeliner and how to create non-smudging eyeliner
I'll review some of my favorite eyeliners of all time! Sit back &Enjoy.

How to create a perfect wing?

- I get asked a lot about how I go about with my cat eyeliner. I am a huge fan of the cat eyeliner because it gives my eyes a better shape. So the answer is, practice practice practice!
-I would say line your eyes with a pencil liner first before using a liquid liner. Pencil liner are more forgiving than liquid liner, because if you make a mistake you can easily rub it off and redo.
- I like to draw the outer corner of my eyes and make a sharp edge and draw it close to my lash line.

How to not let your eyeliner smudge?

Yes, I have wrinkly chin. Hahaha don't pout too much, guys!

When I had single eyelids before, I used to use a gel eyeliner and it would smudge all over my bottom lids making me look like a panda. So here are some few tips for you all!

- After applying your eyeliner, if it's gel or liquid then set it with powder.
- Use an eyeliner that acts as a tattoo on your eyes.
- Don't apply a moisturizer on your eye lids because this will make it slip and slide!
- Don't apply concealer on your top lids because this won't make it last long therefore smudging.

So I have a few eyeliner I'd love to share with you, if you've been trying to find a good eyeliner for yourself!

From the left to right;
1) Lancome Artliner in Noir
2) FaceShop Intense Liner.
3) FaceShop ultra thin liner.
4)Revlon eyeliner.

I personally really like the faceshop liner because it acts as a tattoo so even if you sweat, it doesn't come off which is what I really like about their liners!

So that is it for today's post, i hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope you learned something new!

Facial mask 101.

Hello Everyone!

It's a skin care post today (yayy!!) I personally really like blogging about skin care because I have gone through a lot with my acne breakouts since I was 14, and now that it has finally died down (I'm 18 now), I thought it'd be fair to share with you my tips!

So if you guys follow me on any social media, you'd know my swear by method that helped my skin and if you have read my first ever blog post, you'd know. If you haven't, here it is! Click Here
Enough with that, today is all about facial mask! You know, that type that we either buy from a little packet or that we can make them at home ourselves.
I'll link some relevant blog post about facial mask at the end of this post so please check it out!

1) Always wash your face before applying a mask
2) Always use a toner then use a mask and then a moisturizer.
3) never wash the essence off your face when you use a sheet mask.
4) Never wear makeup right after a mask. Wait an hour for the mask to penetrate deep into your skin.
5) Buy a facial mask that does not add fragrance to them, this might irritate some people's skin and cause them to break out.

So I hope this post was helpful for you all! Please do check back in every single day for a brand new post
I'll see you all tomorrow!

Christmas Gift Guide for GIRLS!

Hi everyone!

If you follow me on any social media, you'd know that I absolutely love december, December is my favorite month in a year. So today will be slightly different, it's 5 Christmas Gift Guide for GIRLS. Girls as in could be your mom, aunt, niece, sister or any others.

Thinking of a gift can be quite stressing but today I'll help you think and you can use these ideas for your gifts!

As a huge LUSHIE, if you have any friends who are loving lush you could buy some products and wrap them in a cute gift bag.

Santa's Sack Bubble bar; AUD$6.95, 110G

Angel's Delight; AUD$5.90, 100G

Sandy santa scrub; AUD$4.50, 125G

I thought it'd be fun if you bought all these 3 gift, wrap them up in a cute little gift bag and add a card. She can have a good scrub with the sandy santa scrub then soak in a nice bubble bath and shower with angel's delight soap! Add a pair of socks in your little gift bag too, so she can have a good night's rest!

Candles ;
Mahogany Teakwood from bath and Body works; $19.50
Sandalwood Vanilla; $6.00 (they have in on sale now, GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN!)

So I thought this would be a good treat for your her if she's more into a stronger scent, mahogany teakwood would be great, it smells like an abercrombie and fitch store. However, if she likes a sweeter scent she can go for sandalwood vanilla.
Put both gifts in a box and wrap it up with a cute little bow!

Have an eyeshadow quad, lipstick and an eyeliner in a small box and wrap it up, add a small card as well!
it depends on which brand you'd like to buy, i personally would recommend going for Dior now that the christmas collection is out but it's entirely up to you!

I hope this post have helped you to come out with some new gift ideas
I'll see you all tomorrow!

Disclaimer; All photos are not mine unless stated otherwise.
Tomorrow's post will be about; Skin care!
Following post will be about; Guides to eyeliner!

I hope you all are having an amazing day and have a blessed one as well!

Amazing Concealer Product Review.

Hi Beauties!

So today would be a product review about my favorite concealer, Amazing Concealer!

I am a huge fan of concealers, I tend to feel that they brighten up my complexion and also conceal my little blemishes I get from time to time, so I stumbled upon this concealer when i was shopping with my mum at Sephora in Singapore. I was immediately drawn to it, it's an absolutely beauty concealer and the formula is so rich.

Basically it comes in a tube like this;

I use this concealer on my dark circles, and I have pretty bad dark circles and this covers up my dark circles making my under eyes look flawless looking!
The formula is super rich, this does not in any way feel heavy on my eyes or make my eyes feel like I have a whole lot of gunk under my eyes.

If you guys can see the little swatch i have on my hand, I couldn't get it to be up close because I only have one hand to hold my camera and it was quite difficult to get it to focus! bare with me please. :)

It might look a little darker than my skin tone, but I have very dark blue-ish circles so a salmon colored base will erased off the dark circles completely.
I have to warn you guys that if you are going to get this product, use the smallest amount as possible because it is super concentrated, one little tiny speck of concealer could cover up your dark circles.

There are many different type of skin tone shade, but I use the second lightest shade in Light Golden. The formula is super creamy and super light on your skin, just set it with powder and you're good to go!

I hope this post was helpful to you all and I hope you've found your new favorite!

Disclaimer; The last two photos are mine, if you'd like to take it please notify me before doing so.

p.s// I'll be going away for a december holiday very soon and I am so interested in LUSH new christmas range, so whoever has their hands on it already and has done a blog post review do kindly drop your blog link on the comment section below and I'd love to check it out!
I want to read as many reviews as possible before purchasing their new christmas range products :)

I hope you all are having a fantastic day
I'll see you tomorrow,byeeee!
